Podwobble

Terms of Use

Last updated 16 September 2026

The short version: The app is free. Podwobble Pro is an optional purchase that removes the mark from your exports. You can buy it on the App Store or from this site, and the two work a little differently. This page explains both.

Who we are

Podwobble is made by Nicholas Johnson (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the Podwobble app for Mac and Windows and this website, podwobble.com.

The app licence

The App Store version is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). That agreement governs your use of that version, including its warranty disclaimer and limits on liability. The sections below add detail about purchases and this website. They don’t replace it.

The version downloaded from podwobble.com is licensed, not sold, under these terms. You may install it on computers you own or control and use it for personal or commercial work. Please don’t resell, redistribute or modify the app, or try to get around its license check. The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Our total liability to you for anything to do with the app is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Free use and the Podwobble mark

Podwobble is free to download, with unlimited projects and exports. Every video exported without Pro includes a small Podwobble mark in the bottom-right corner. Every format and feature works either way.

Your work is yours. We claim no rights in the audio, images, captions or videos you make with Podwobble. You’re responsible for having the rights to the material you use.

Podwobble Pro

Podwobble Pro removes the mark from every video you export and adds 2K and 4K export while it’s active. It comes three ways:

  • Monthly: $9.99 per month. Renews automatically.
  • Yearly: $59.99 per year, which works out to $5 a month. Starts with a 7-day free trial and renews automatically.
  • Lifetime: $99.99, a one-time purchase. It doesn’t renew and doesn’t expire.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT may be added where it applies. The App Store or the checkout page shows your final price before you confirm.

Buying Pro from this website

  • Polar sells Pro for us as the reseller. It charges your card, adds any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt.
  • After checkout you get a license key by email. Paste it into Podwobble to turn Pro on. One key works on up to 3 computers at a time, Mac or Windows. To move it, deactivate a computer in the app or in your Polar account.
  • Monthly and Yearly renew automatically for the same length and price until you cancel. You can cancel any time in your Polar account. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You’re charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
  • The app checks your key with Polar each time it opens. If it can’t reach Polar, Pro keeps working for 14 days, then pauses until a check goes through.
  • A key bought here doesn’t unlock the App Store version, and an App Store purchase doesn’t unlock the downloaded version.

Subscriptions on the App Store

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • The yearly plan’s 7-day free trial becomes a paid yearly subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel during the trial and at least 24 hours before it runs out. Apple decides who is eligible for the trial.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings, at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or in System Settings under your name, then Media & Purchases.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.

Lifetime

Lifetime is a single payment for Pro with no renewal. Bought on the App Store, it’s tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore it on your other Macs. Bought from this site, it’s a license key that never expires and works on up to 3 computers at a time, Mac or Windows. Buying Lifetime doesn’t cancel a subscription you already have. If you have one, cancel it where you bought it so it doesn’t renew.

When Pro ends

If a subscription ends, or a purchase is refunded, new exports carry the mark again. Videos you’ve already exported aren’t changed.

Refunds and price changes

App Store purchases: Apple processes these payments, so refund requests go to Apple and follow Apple’s policies. We can’t refund them ourselves.

Purchases from this website: write to support@podwobble.com from the email address you bought with, and we’ll sort it out. Polar sends any refund back to your card. A refunded key stops unlocking Pro.

If a subscription price goes up, you’ll be told before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does. On the App Store, Apple also asks you to agree first where its rules require.

Using this website

This site describes Podwobble and hosts its support and legal pages. You’re welcome to read it, link to it and share it. Please don’t try to disrupt it or use it for anything unlawful. We try to keep it accurate, but it’s provided as is, and details such as prices can change. The App Store or the checkout page always shows the current price.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when prices or plans change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A change doesn’t affect a period you’ve already paid for.
